On May 24 2019, Al Roker continued the 3rd hour of TODAY’s Hometown Glory series by taking a trip to the New York City borough of Queens, where he grew up in the community of St. Albans. He bumps into old friends and visits his childhood home. During the tour he meets up with Guest Curator of the Queens Historical Society Rachel A. Fenderson and they take a ride on the Q4 Bus down Linden Boulevard in Saint Albans, Queens.

Afterwards, she was in conversation led by Chicago Fashion Designer & Cultural Curator Amanda Christine Harth.

Virtual Exhibition Tour & Presentation JAY JAXON: 40 Years Of Fashion Design Brilliance | Past Present Future On Saturday, February 13, 2021 at 12pm EST, Guest Curator Rachel Fenderson gave a virtual exhibition tour and presentation on the Queens Native Fashion Designer Jay Jaxon. The exhibition “JAY JAXON: 40 Years Of Fashion Design Brilliance | Past Present Future” curated by Rachel A. Fenderson was on display at the Queens Historical Society from February 8th 2020 - December 29th, 2020 by appointment only due to Covid-19.
